‘Inara’ Light Blue Rakhi | Blue Pottery
Out of stock
Specially curated our Blue Pottery Rakhis all the way from Jaipur.
Blue pottery craft includes a series of steps – the dough is prepared with raw materials like quartz powder, cullet (the small chunks of glass are washed first and are grinded later to make glass powder. It is sieved to avoid bigger particles.), saji, katira gond, and multani mitti are mixed together properly to a non-sticky dough and kept for few hours before using. A mould is then made, painted with the natural material mentioned and heated to make the final product.
Crafts like these are so deep rooted in the culture of India and artisans derive pride from working on something that is uniquely theirs. Spread the light, this season!
